Weight loss journey week 2 (8th-15th January)
Hi everyone. Last week was great:
Previous waist measurement = 37 inches
This week = 36 inches
Previous weight = 183 pounds (83.2 kg)
This week = 176 pounds (80 kg)
At the beginning of last week, I started an 8 week program with Lindsay Brins Boot Camp Fitness DVD. I did that workout for 5 days. It seemed easy the first day I did it but the following day, it worked me out to the bone. By Saturday, all my muscles were fatigued and I rested over the weekend.
My additional exercise routines:
-Erin O' Brien's DVD (15 minutes) Thursday and Friday
-Treadmill : 30 minutes at 3mph (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
I also reduced my calories and now my appetite is a little bit less than it was previously. I always make sure I have breakfast: I've observed that big breakfasts help to reduce your cravings later in the day! For lunch, I made fruit smoothies with protein powder and I made sure my dinner was not too large. For my snack, I was very particular about my calories: I had snack bars on some occasions.
I'm also pumping breast milk about 6 times daily(I'm doing semi-exclusive pumping because my daughter is not latching on properly!). Weight loss is not easy but I will get to my goal 64 kg 141 pounds) or by God's grace!!
