Since I discovered Hair one cleansing conditioner with tea tree oil, I hardly use traditional shampoos anymore. Sometimes though, I use them when I feel that my hair has a lot of build-up of hair products. I also like to use a clarifying shampoo a week before I relax. After clarifying, I like to deep condition with a mild protein reconstructor. My two favorites are Motions Cpr Conditioner Protein Reconstructor and JoicoK-pak Liquid Reconstructor. I usually follow this up with a moisturizing conditioner. I have also come across Vitale Super Reconstructor Conditioner at a shop here in Lagos called Stylez beauty shop. Their website is stylezbeauty.com.
Anyway, before I detract from what I was trying to say, I love sulfate-free shampoos. The three I currently have in my product stash are:
1. Tigi bedhead Superstar Sulfate-Free Shampoo
2. L'oreal sulfate free shampoos
3. Pureology Serious Colour Care Purify-Shampoo with zero sulfates. This clarifying sulfate-free shampoo can be used for relaxed hair. It clarifies and chelates (so it can be used after swimming). Since I like to clarify before I get a relaxer and I avoid sulfate-free shampoos, I was looking for a shampoo which would be clarifying but sulfate-free.That's when I discovered this shampoo. My only problem with it is that your hair feels completely clean and stripped afterwards so you must follow it up with a moisturizing conditioner. If you want to do a protein treatment immediately after using this shampoo (like I do), make sure you use a moisturizing conditioner after rinsing off the protein conditioner otherwise your hair will feel extremely hard!!

Disclaimer: I have no relationship with Stylez beauty shop. It's just a place I love to shop some of my hair products.
